The Titan group meets monthly on the 1st weekend at Guthries to play... yup, Titan. This used to be its own Meetup group, but Nate has allowed me to bring it under the general Chicago Boardgaming umbrella.

For those who don't know, Titan is a 2-6 player elimination game where the goal is to be the last player/Titan standing. It has a strategic mechanism for acquiring creatures and a tactical mechanism for fighting with them. You can read more about it >here< at bgg, including the >rules<. Even though it involves rolling a lot of dice, Titan is very much a game of skill and has a rather steep learning curve (which we are always happy to help newer players begin to tackle).

Games can vary in length from ~30 minutes to 5+ hours... typically, though, we start at 2PM and wrap up at like 6PM or 7PM.
