Please include a comment on your RSVP if you're intending to play Zombiegeddon.

A Chicago area game designer will be leading a live action horror-themed game at Cafe WhaWho on January 19th starting at 7pm sharp. The game lasts two and a half hours and requires 15 to 20 players. Since there are a limited number of roles, those interested should RSVP early while space is available. You will choose your character when you arrive, so early arrivals get first dibs.

Arriving late? No worries! We'll have other games happening downstairs for the latecomers and others who want to play other things.

Below is a brief description of Zombiegeddon and how it is played.

“The walking dead, flesh-eating ghouls - zombies are everywhere! Within hours the outbreak has overrun the small town of Humble Creek, sending townsfolk fleeing from the hordes of the living dead. In the midst of the chaos, a small group of survivors have taken shelter in a rustic home at the edge of the town cemetery. The doors are nailed shut, the windows are boarded up, but how long will you stay safe before an army of the undead claws its way inside? And which is the bigger threat - the growing number of zombies surrounding the house...or each other? If you want to survive the night you'll have to work together, discover clues, and uncover the insidious secrets behind the zombie infection and the means to destroy it. Humble Creek has already fallen, the outbreak will spread, and it's only a matter of time before the day of the dead arrives...Zombiegeddon!”

Zombiegeddon is a live action mystery game. Each participant plays as one of the twenty characters (including both zombies and human survivors) integral to the story, with their own unique background, secrets, and mystery to unravel. To solve your mystery, you will have to examine clues, solve puzzles, and talk to other characters. The game is very simple to play but requires a very inquisitive mind and sharp detective skills to piece together the detailed backstory of the mystery and discover its dark secrets.
