Some folks can't make a Sunday meetup. Others just can't get enough Scrabble. The Northside Scrabble meetup is happy to add two weeknights a month at our favorite venue, Swim Café!

We'll be at Swim Café in Chicago's West Town neighborhood, 1357 W. Chicago Ave. (just east of Ashland, between Noble & Ada, across the street from Eckhart Park) There is usually plenty of parking along Chicago Ave, and there is free parking on side streets. The Chicago Ave bus stops at Noble Street. An organizer will be at Swim from 6:00 to 9:00 pm, but the Café stays open until 10:00 PM (Tuesday thru Friday).

Swim has plenty of healthy food to choose from, including Panini Sandwiches, delicious soup, and scrumptious pastries, along with coffee, tea, smoothies, hot (and ever so slightly spicy) apple cider, and much more. Swim offers a free drink to Scrabble game winners.

On weeknights, Swim is BYOB (21+ only).

Swim has a plethora of Deluxe Scrabble sets, and a dictionary on hand, but it's also a good idea to bring your own set if you have one.

NOTE: We're going to try different weeknights based on availability of the organizers. Hope to see you there!
