This week we play host to the Rio Grande Design Contest!

We'll be playing prototype games made by local designers competing in the Rio Grande Design Contest. This is your chance to play a game that is unique to Chicago and perhaps be instrumental in getting it published under a major label. I hope you can make it.

Information on which prototypes will be played will not be available in advance.

This is an excellent meet-up for both new and experienced gamers. We cater to both, with some serious gamers for those of you who are looking for a challenge. Plus, we support new and/or less competitive gamers as well by explaining games and answering questions to help make sure you have an enjoyable gaming experience. Our group meets every other Monday. The parking is free and we're located close to the Metra and bus stops.
Favorites that see lots of play are Stone Age, Settlers of Catan, Tomb, Dominion, Pandemic, Alhambra, Tichu, Bang! the Bullet and Starship Catan. I just got in some more games, so you can expect to see Starfarers of Catan, Oasis, Dragonriders, Carcassonne The Discovery, Puerto Rico, Brass and Shadows Over Camelot to show up.
